Antique, Philippines: Opening Academic Year Nursing Department St Anthony’s College

September 6, 2023 – Today marked a significant milestone in the academic journey of Saint Anthony’s College’s Nursing Department. A longstanding tradition, the Mass of the Holy Spirit was celebrated at the Bishop De Wit Hall, SAC Campus in Antique, to invoke divine guidance and blessings for the Academic Year 2023-2024.

The ceremony was presided over by Fr. Mario M. Dimapilis, MHM, MPH, RN, FCN, a distinguished member of the Nursing Department Faculty. Assisting him was Fr. Michael S. Parulan, EHM, the esteemed Christian Formation Minister, whose presence added depth and warmth to the proceedings.

The Mass served as a touching confluence of faith, hope, and the shared commitment to nursing excellence and compassionate care. Faculty and students alike united in prayer, invoking the Holy Spirit’s guidance, wisdom, and protection as they set forth on another academic year filled with opportunities, challenges, and growth.

As the SAC community moves into the new academic year, the grace and inspiration from the Mass are hoped to remain in the hearts and actions of all its members.
