Art Exhibition in Windsor on Missionary Theme
This year’s art exhibition is to be held on the weekend of the 22nd/23rd October, World Mission Sunday. We have chosen the following theme – Mission: Listening to the Cry of the Earth and the Cry of the Poor. The theme is based on Pope Francis’s ground-breaking Encyclical “Laudato Si”. The following artists will be exhibiting Maria Meerstadt (oils) Caroline Gatfield (ceramicist), Jill Chadwick (glass art), Carol Cox and myself (pastels & W/C) Each of us will focus on different aspects of the theme.
Opening times for the exhibition:
Friday 21st October: 7.00 pm – 9.00 pm (Preview Event)
Saturday 22nd: 10.30 am – 7.30 pm (Mass at 6.00 pm)
Sunday 23rd: 10.00 am – 1.00 pm (Mass at 11.00 am)
The exhibition will be held at St Edward’s Church Parish centre. There is plenty of parking space for the event. We hope to see you there! All profits from the sales of artworks and refreshments will go to support Thames Hospice.
