Brixen, Italy: 65 Years Jubilee Fr Josef Giggenbacher MHM

In 1957, Josef Giggenbacher was ordained a priest together with six other fellow students (all deceased) from the German-speaking region in Mill Hill, London. He can thank God for 65 years of priestly service.

For this reason, we celebrated a thanksgiving service with Josef on August 8th in the mission house in Brixen to which confreres from the mission houses in Brixen and Absam, family members and friends of our jubilarian were invited.

At the beginning of the Holy Mass, Joseph commemorated his deceased classmates and thanked God for the work as a missionary in Sabah, Brixen, Bludenz, Absam, Manila and Vienna.
