The Women Empowerment Programme at St. Joseph’s Parish, Sindh, reaches out to some of the poorest and most vulnerable women in Society:
- The tailoring school provides women with skills that can help them to provide for their families. At the end of each tailoring course the women are provided with sowing machines to enable them to make clothes from home and generate an income for their families.
- The Basic Education is offered to girls who don’t have the opportunity to go to school. Education opens the doors to better employment opportunities and helps the participants develop greater self-confidence.
