Sharing experiences of our new environment and culture is an opportunity for personal growth.  By venturing beyond our comfort zones, we challenge ourselves to adapt to different customs, languages, and social norms. This process fosters resilience and a deeper understanding of the world around us. We learn to appreciate diversity and recognize the common humanity that unites us all, regardless of our backgrounds.
As newcomers to the British Region, part of our orientation involves sharing and processing our experiences as we face the joys and challenges of our new setting. We are fortunate to have the guidance and support of Fr. Anthony Chantry, MHM, who has been instrumental in helping us perceive our experiences as valuable opportunities for learning and adapting to the reality of our new environment. His wisdom and encouragement have been a source of reassurance and confidence for us.
During our gathering, we were privileged to explore London, its history, and its influence in the present time. Among our notable visits was the Westminster Cathedral. Here lies Cardinal Vaughan, the founder of our Society whose legacy continues to inspire and guide our mission. Paying our respects at his resting place was a humbling experience and a chance to pray for our fellow missionaries worldwide.
Our journey as newcomers in the British Region was more than just adapting to a new environment. It was about embracing new experiences. We hope to have an open mind and learn from our experiences as we continue our journey.
