We have received sad news from one of our missionaries about a recent fire in one of the outstations of our mission in Oloolaimutia, Maasai Mara.
The fire broke out on the night of 28 June 2026 at around 11.00 pm. It was caused by an electrical short circuit and destroyed many houses and small shops. Families lost everything they owned and were unable to save any of their belongings. Many people are now homeless and in urgent need of help.
We have received the following appeal from Fr. William Epiti, MHM, a Mill Hill Missionary from Uganda serving the Maasai people in St. Francis Xavier Parish, Oloolaimutia, Kenya:
“This tragedy has left many families homeless and in great need of basic necessities. We appeal for your support to provide temporary shelter, food, clothing, blankets and medicines as we work towards a lasting solution. So far, no assistance has reached the affected families.”
We ask you to keep the affected families in your prayers. If you are able to help, your generous support will make a real difference in providing emergency relief and restoring hope to those who have lost everything.
