On the 28th of July, 2025 the City of White Plains and the government of Westchester County, New York, declared “Fr. Bob O’Neil MHM Day”.
As well as receiving a beautiful Certificate of Proclamation, everyone who passed by the Westchester County Conference Centre saw the tribute to Fr. Bob O’Neil MHM, who celebrates 60 years of priesthood as a Mill Hill Missionary.
On Sunday the 27th of July a group of 35 Mill Hill colleagues and friends gathered in the Mill Hill House to celebrate Mass with Bob and to honor his commitment. After Mass, Bob’s colleague in Hartsdale, Fr. Paul F. Mooney MHM, had arranged a delightful, Italian buffet of food and drinks. We ere blessed particularly that the heavy rain of the morning stayed well away as the gathered crowd enjoyed the afternoon in the back garden.
