Fr. James Juma went for a medical procedure at Donald Gordon Hospital which he said went well on 5/7/2023. His condition got worse and he was taken back to Donald Gordon Hospital on 11th where he was admitted in the ward Section J. Upon realizing that he was seriously bleeding internally he was transferred to the Surgical Ward ICU at 22h30

On the 12/7/2023 at 11h00, he went through gastroscopy to investigate the area of bleeding. Unfortunately, the doctors could not find the area of bleeding. On 12/7/2023 at midnight James got lots of blood transfusions and plasma given to him too. 13/7/2023 at 2:00 am he got worse and and not long after breathed his last.

May the Lord grant him eternal rest. As we pray for the repose of his soul, let us remember our Mill Hill family and James’ family back in Kenya as they go through this difficult period of grief and loss.
