Resurrection.
It means believing that it is possible,
despite all the misery we see around us,
keep believing
that God’s indestructible love has the last word.
That we are already entering a new human world
if that is the first word – indestructible love –
with which that world begins in each of us.

SEVEN  MEN  IN  A  BOAT (John 21,1-14)

Seven men in a boat,
Afloat
 But adrift –
The Kyrios killed,
Their flight,
Then fishing all night
In vain,
In pain.

Then, putting things right,
The Sight.
The Lord is alive:
Sure, secure
Before
Seven men on the shore.
