We had a very grace-filled celebration of the Fiesta of St. Joseph here in the Formation House, Iloilo. It was well attended, with almost 600 people from around, especially from the Parishes where Mill Hill Missionaries have been working. The celebration started with a solemn procession with the statue of St. Joseph, and after the procession, the Mass was celebrated by Mgsr. Jose Marie Delgado, the Vicar General of the Archdiocese of Jaro.
The occasion was graced by the presence of all our Mill Hill Missionaries working here in the Philippines, the Mensa Domini sisters, the Dominican sisters, the Notre Dame sisters and many others. Within Mass we also had two of our brothers, Von Jovi Dela Torre and Karl Welkins Morgia, taking their Temporary Oath. Von Jovi comes from Mandurriao, and their home is close to the Formation House. Karl Welkins comes from another Island, the city of Davao. We wish them all God’s blessings as they prepare to start their second cycle of formation in Nairobi in August.
