During the Lenten season of prayer and fasting, Fr. Patras, a Mill Hill Missionary visited Lurgi Mission to support and encourage the women of the parish.
He gave a thoughtful talk focused especially on the women of Lurgi, highlighting the meaning of Lent as a sacred forty-day period for prayer, repentance, and personal renewal.
Fr. Patras encouraged them to take part in the key Lenten practices of fasting and giving to those in need. He also reminded them of the important role they play as the spiritual strength of their families and the wider Lurgi Parish.
