Christians in 23 of India’s 28 states endure daily discrimination and violence, according to the latest Violence Monitor Report 2024 by the New Delhi-based United Christian Forum (UCF).
The report highlights a grim reality for marginalized Christian communities, documenting incidents ranging from physical violence and murder to social boycotts and desecration of religious symbols.
The data, compiled through UCF’s helpline from January to October, underscores the severity of the challenges faced by India’s Christians.
