India’s Ganga River Facing Slow Death

India’s holiest river, The Ganga — also known as The Ganges — is facing a slow death due to pollution.

The Indian government is trying to turn the situation around with the ‘Clean Ganga’ project but whether it’s able to meet the challenge is another thing.
