Kinshasa, DR Congo: ‘Hope is the Response’ Initiative
L’espoir est la Réponse (EER)
Hope is the Response
This is an initiative (An NGO) I decided to create after being here in the Democratic Republic of Congo for almost three years. I arrived here in February 2020 and ever since, I have been serving in a very challenging mission.
Therefore:
Hope is the Response, seeks to empower widows whom we have begun engaging into farming so as to give hope to these widows who have little or no one to care for them.
Hope is the Response, gives hope to the community by providing basic health facilities and medication as compared to before when they had to trek for over 2km to get a simple paracetamol.
Hope is the response by providing a community canteen, helps the less privileged children to go to school. While going for masses in the interior, I come across children who wish to go to school but have no means. Through my little effort and push from their parents, Hope is the Response has been able to begin giving hope to about twelve children who live in an accommodation next to the parish house. More information on this will be brought in the days ahead.
While hoping to bring to you more details. I continue to thank all my benefactors and you all for your continuous prayers to bring hope to the World. To be continued.
