Malaysia: Asia Cluster Meeting

The Mill Hill Missionaries’ presence and contribution to mission in Asia is still active and growing through gaining our strength from the spirit of the Risen Lord who is always with us in all circumstances. We must admit and appreciate that Asia is a continent of diversity in terms of culture, religion and tradition of the people. The Mill Hill Missionaries reaching out in Asia find themselves interacting and proclaiming the Gospel to all people. This is because we find ourselves in the Muslim, Hindu, and the Buddhist contexts with the message of love, hope, joy and peace.

This year, MHM’ Society representatives from India, Pakistan, Malaysia, Cambodia and Philippines gathered in Sibu- Malaysia. It was a great moment to reflect, share and discuss our experiences in the mission and consider the possible way forward in journeying together as Mill Hill Society.

Despite the challenges and struggles in the Asia Mission Areas, we are grateful to all the Mill Hill Missionaries working in Asia. Despite the fact that some of the members are working in very difficult areas, the resilience of the people that we serve give us hope to continue with mission. We continue to pray for more vocations and members so that the mission in Asia and the world at large may continue to grow.
