The charism of the Missionary Community of Corpus Christi is “mission animation.”
What this basically means is that members of MCCC focus on getting others to become aware of their calling to be missionary disciples: by organising. facilitating and initiating them into missionary activities. The role of each member is to carry out mission animation.
Members therefore create opportunities for missionary outreach for others to participate in, thereby allowing them to fulfil their missionary role. One of the ways in which this can be done is to invite them to “A Call to Mission” programme.
“A Call to Mission” is a mission awareness programme conducted by a team of two or three MCCC mission animators. Its main purpose is to “move” Christians to accepting their role as missionary disciples and spur them into active involvement in society as a response to their relationship with Jesus.
