Nairobi Formation Back to Life

After a long break of up to 3 months, the Mill Hill formation house of Nairobi is alive again. This formative year 2023-2024 will be guided by the theme: Living the Truth in Love, taken from Ephesians 4:15. It calls us to live our lives authentically, communicate truthfully and show love to each other as a family.

The year starts with a total of 31 students representing 6 nationalities. Among them we have 9 first years, 10 second years, 7 third years and 5 fourth years. All dynamic in age, character, talents and experiences. After a week of orientation in the formation house and at Tangaza, we had the opening mass coinciding with 19th Sunday of year A on 13/8/23.

The gospel reading reminded us that we are setting off on a journey across the sea. Where we shall surely encounter some ‘stormy situations’. The consoling aspect is that, Jesus will be watching over us. At the end of mass, all the first year students were welcomed and handed over a lighted candle by Liam Durrant mhm. Then Dominic Nyachoti mhm in his capacity as rector welcomed all of us, new and old, to the formative year 2023-2024 and declared it open.

As a loving family. We shared a simple lunch together. Stay with us Lord.
