Members of Institutes of Consecrated Life and Societies of Apostolic Life (ICLSAL) serving in Kenya’s Catholic Archdiocese of Nairobi (ADN) gathered on Saturday, February 1 in celebration of the 2025 Jubilee of Consecrated Life.
In interviews with ACI Africa, women and men Religious shared their understanding of the celebration that was organized and realized in the context of the Catholic Church’s 2025 Jubilee Year. The worldwide celebration of the Jubilee of Consecrated Life has been scheduled to take place from 8-9 October 2025 in Rome.
“Celebrating a jubilee of Consecrated life is very significant for me as a Religious. It is a moment of thanksgiving to God for the great things He has done in my life. A day like this invites me to renew my love and commitment in the service of God, to the Church and the people of God,” Sr. Rosemary Mueni Mwaiwa of the Pious Society of the Daughters of St. Paul (FSP), also known as Pauline Sisters, said.
