Yesterday, September 27, seven of our students at the Nairobi Formation Centre in Kenya took their Perpetual Missionary Oath, marking their commitment to a lifelong dedication to the missionary apostolate of the Society. Through this solemn oath, they pledge to serve the Society with obedience, live according to its values, and offer their work freely, without seeking personal gain. (cf. C35) This significant step symbolizes their deep commitment to spreading the mission of the Society and embracing a life of service, faith, and generosity in support of others.

Let us thank God for these seven men who have answered the call to be missionaries, courageously leaving behind their homes, families, and friends to venture into unfamiliar places. Their selfless decision to share the Joy of the Gospel with all people reflects a deep faith and commitment to spreading God’s love. May their dedication inspire us all, as they begin the new chapter of their missionary journey to bring hope, compassion, and the message of Christ to the world.
Today, September 28, the seven newly accepted Perpetual Members of the Mill Hill Society will be ordained as Deacons at Mary Mother of God Embulbul Catholic Parish in the Diocese of Ngong. The ordination will be led by Most Rev. John Oballa Owaa, Bishop of Ngong Diocese. This important ceremony marks the next step in their journey as they prepare for a life of service in the Church and the mission of spreading the Gospel.
