The seeds of missionary vocation that were sown by the Mill Hill Missionaries on the coastal and mountain areas of the province of Iloilo and Antique, Philippines, germinated, grew, and are continuously bearing fruits.
On November 08, 2020, the Archdiocese of Jaro, Iloilo, took the pastoral care of the newly erected Holy Family Parish in Kaaleng Village in Turkana, Diocese of Lodwar in Kenya.
Archbishop Jose Romeo O. Lazo, D.D. and two priests from his archdiocese who will serve in this new parish mission were present at the occasion.
Also, three nuns from the Missionary Sisters of the Lord’s Table (founded by the late Bishop Cornelio de Wit mhm in Antique) complete the mission team.
Three priests from the Diocese of San Jose de Antique continue their mission ministries for more than three years now in the Kaikor mission, also in Turkana.
