Philippines: Parish of San Remigio Gets New Pastors
Today on the Fiesta of St. Vincent Ferrer Parish, San Remigio, our young Mill Hill men who recently arrived in the Philippines were Installed in their new parish. This was during a Eucharistic celebration presided over by Bishop Marvyn A. Maceda, the Bishop of the Diocese of Antique.
Fr. Abonge Emmanuel MHM was Ordained almost two years ago, while Fr. Peter Ntein MHM was ordained last year. But because of the Covid restrictions they couldn’t take up their appointment. They are both from Cameroon.
They will be taking over the parish from Fr. Benny Quinto MHM who has been in charge of the parish for the past couple of years. Fr. Benny will be proceeding to take up a new appointment in one of our newly established parishes in the Archdi0cese of Jaro.
Please keep Frs. Emmanuel and Peter in your prayers that they may reach out to the people of San Remigio in the spirit of Cardinal Vaughan following the example of St. Joseph.
Tony Emeka MHM

Congratulations to you, dear Emmanuel. May God give you more grace to serve and love the people he has entrusted into your care.
