Jesus came not just to live for a short time in one place, but to live forever, everywhere.
On Divine Mercy Sunday, we remember that Jesus is alive and still working in the world.
Jesus’ whole life led to the cross, where He took our sins upon Himself.
He did not defend Himself at His trial because He had chosen to suffer for us.
As St. Francis of Assisi said, we crucify Jesus again when we sin.
But Jesus, full of love, forgives and saves us through His sacrifice.
The Apostle Thomas struggled to believe until he saw Jesus’ wounds.
When he saw the proof of Jesus’ love, he cried out, “My Lord and my God!”
Jesus gave the Apostles the Holy Spirit and the power to forgive sins, creating the Sacrament of Confession after His resurrection.
Jesus didn’t just save us — He sent us.
He calls us to continue His work: helping the poor, comforting the sick, forgiving others, and praying for the living and the dead.
He gave us everything, even when we didn’t deserve it, and He asks us to share His love with others.
During Holy Week, Jesus showed that He understands our pain.
During Easter Week, He shows that He transforms our pain into new life.
When we wonder where Jesus is during suffering, He reminds us: He is in us, His followers.
He is still offering peace to the world through His people and His sacraments.
