World Mission Sunday is fast approaching, a special time of prayer and support for missionaries across the world. This year’s theme, “Missionaries of Hope Among All Peoples,” reminds us of our calling to share the hope of Christ with everyone. Many of our brothers and sisters live in despair and hopelessness, but through Christ, we are given hope to share with others. As we celebrate World Mission Sunday on October 19, encouraged by the example of Pope Leo, let this occasion inspire us to renew our commitment to the Church’s mission—bringing hope to every person we meet and to every place we go.
