Ten of our students at the Jinja Formation House in Uganda took their Temporary Oath, officially becoming Temporary Members of the Society. Fr. Hillary Awiti, MHM Regional for Mill Hill East Africa, welcomed the ten students on behalf of the General Council.
Yiga Aloysius, Nawumanya Fabius, Ambrose Okeyo Okul, Ssekyanzi John Baptist, Michael Sanya Egesa, Vincent Mabuka Onditi, Christerias Mushila, Angiro Gabriel, Tony Anguzu, and Bainomugisha Paul completed their Basic Formation in Luanda, Kenya, and their Philosophical Studies in Jinja, Uganda. They were guided and supported by the Formation Staff: Fr. Charles Okata, MHM, Fr. Philip Obaso, MHM, and Fr. John Kwa Akain, MHM.
Let us keep praying for and supporting our students in Formation Centres across the world as they continue to discern their calling. Our 10 new Temporary Members will spend some time with their families before being sent to different mission areas for their two-year Mission Experience Programme (MEP). We hope they will have a meaningful and enriching experience as they share the Joy of the Gospel and serve the people wherever they are sent.
