Families around the world live in very different situations. Some have safe homes and steady jobs, while others struggle with serious problems. Many families are forced to leave their homes because of war or natural disasters and have to live in refugee camps, often in small tents with little food or water. Some are trapped in civil wars, facing danger every day. Others deal with personal struggles like poverty, illness, or losing loved ones. No matter their situation, all families hope for a better future and a safe place to call home.
This month’s intention of the Pope is dedicated to families in crisis, especially those that are broken. Let us pray that these broken families may discover the healing for their wounds through forgiveness and by rediscovering each other’s gifts, even amid their differences.
