Yesterday, the 24th of July, a Chief, HRH Richard Fomba Ayong, the Fon of Enyoh in Moghamo, in the Archdiocese of Bamenda in Cameroon, visited Hartsdale. The Fon decorated Fr. Robert O’Neil MHM for services to the community of Enyoh, when he was parish priest of Moghamo and over many years since.
It was a beautiful and very colorful occasion.
Fr. Bob was visibly moved at being granted such an honor, in this his 60th year of being a Mill Hill Missionary priest.
