Year of St. Joseph: Prominent Role of Catholic Men in Diocese of Kumba, Cameroon

Members of the Catholic Men Association (CMA) in Cameroon’s Diocese of Kumba are expected to coordinate initiatives marking the year of St. Joseph, the Local Ordinary has told ACI Africa in an interview.

In the Tuesday, February 23 interview, Bishop Agapitus Nfon said, “I have entrusted the activities of the Year of St. Joseph to the Catholic Men Association (CMA). They will be the ones to coordinate all the celebrations at the Diocesan level, at the Deaneries and in the Parishes.”

Bishop Nfon added, “I decided to entrust the coordination of activities to the Catholic men because St. Joseph is their Patron Saint and CMA members call themselves men of honour.”
